Miami, FL (September 13, 2021) – An auto accident with injuries took place on the Dolphin Expressway in the eastbound lanes near Le Jeune Road on September 13. Police, paramedics, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene in order to assist those involved at approximately 3:33 p.m.

The incident caused at least one person to become injured. They were transported to an area medical center for treatment shortly after the crash took place. Their identity has not been released at this time. 

How and why the collision happened remains under police investigation. Traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane for several hours while crews worked to secure the scene.
