Miami-Dade, FL (August 9, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash in Miami-Dade took place on826 Express North in the afternoon hours of August 9. At approximately 12:50 p.m., various responders including paramedics, police, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene in order to help those involved.
According to official reports concerning the incident, it happened on 826 Express North before Okeechobee Road and South River Drive. All lanes of the interstate were blocked while responders were present in the area.
Injuries were reported as a result of the crash, though the total number of injured parties has not been made available at this time. At least one victim was transported from the scene to an area medical center for further care.
The roadway was closed for an extended period of time on the morning of August 9 while responders worked to clear the scene. Few details are currently available concerning the nature of the incident.
Police in Miami-Dade continue their investigation into the circumstances of the wreck. Nothing further has been reported at this time.
