Boynton Beach, FL (November 20, 2021) – Police in Boynton Beach say two cars fatally struck a man who was crossing a roadway on Friday, November 19. The accident happened in the evening hours, according to reports.
Sources indicate that the wreck occurred when the 59-year-old unidentified pedestrian was crossing North Congress Avenue between Old Boynton Road and West Boynton Beach Boulevard. A driver behind the wheel of a 2016 Lexus hit the man first, but when he landed in the roadway, the driver of a 2013 Kia Sorento ran him over.
Various responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision took place. The man was pronounced deceased on-site by medical professionals.
