Miami, FL (November 19, 2021) – A vehicle crash caused injuries to an unspecified number of people on the afternoon of November 19. Responders were dispatched to the scene to assist involved parties at approximately 1:20 p.m.
Sources say that the incident occurred near the intersection of 137th Avenue and Bird Road. What was believed to be at least two vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection.
Paramedics, police, and Miami fire crews were seen at the scene shortly after the wreck took place. One or more injured parties were loaded into ambulances and transported to an area hospital for further care.
The identities of the injured have not been reported at this time as authorities in Miami continue to investigate. Traffic was backed up in the area of Bird Road on 137th Avenue for an extended time period on Friday afternoon while emergency personnel were present in the area.
