Fort Pierce, FL (November 17, 2021) – A serious auto accident occurred on Tuesday, November 16 near Fort Pierce. The wreck was reported to officials in the evening hours, around 9:20 p.m, and required an emergency dispatch.
Reports show that the wreck occurred in the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike at milepost 165 just before Fort Pierce. The circumstances of the incident have not been reported at this time.
Paramedics and other responders were seen assisting at the crash site. It currently remains unclear how many people were hurt in the wreck.
All lanes of the Turnpike were blocked while authorities worked at the scene. Local drivers were asked to seek an alternate route while the crash site was active.
