Miami Beach, FL (October 15, 2021) – Firefighters received a report concerning a pedestrian-involved crash that occurred on a roadway in Miami Beach on October 16. At around 9:20 a.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the injured victim.
Upon their arrival at the scene, located in the 100 block of Collins Avenue, paramedics found that a bicyclist had sustained injuries when they were struck by a vehicle. The factors contributing to the cause of the incident have not been reported at this time.
EMTs treated the injured party at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital for further care. The area where the collision took place was closed while local first responders were present.
