Miami, FL (September 27, 2021) – All lanes of a roadway in Coral Way in Miami were blocked after an injury accident occurred on the afternoon of September 26. The wreck was reported to officials in the area at approximately 3:15 p.m.
Sources indicate that the accident took place on South US-1 near Virginia Street for reasons still under police investigation. At least one person involved in the crash suffered injuries.
Paramedics assisted injured parties on-site before transporting those in need of further medical care to area hospitals for treatment. Few details are currently available concerning the nature of the accident.
Delays in traffic were observed in the area while police and other responders worked at the scene. Local motorists were asked to find alternative routes for the time being.
